The Freelance Media Planner/Buyer will play a pivotal role in the advertising and marketing for Foundry 512 and its clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategizing and executing media campaigns to maximize a client’s exposure and return on investment. This dynamic position involves a blend of market research, negotiation skills, creative thinking, and data analysis. FUNCTIONAL DUTIES:
-Media Strategy: Develop comprehensive media plans based on client objectives, identifying the most effective media channels (e.g., digital, print, TV, radio) and demographics to target.
-Market Research: Conduct extensive market research to understand audience behavior, media consumption, and competitive landscapes, using data to inform media strategies.
-Vendor Negotiation: Establish and maintain strong relationships with media vendors, negotiating terms and rates to secure optimal media placements for clients.
-Campaign Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve reach and return on investment.
-Budget Management: Create and manage media budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to client financial guidelines.
-Ad Placement: Coordinate with media vendors, publishers, and advertising agencies to secure ad placements, ensuring they align with the media plan.
-Ad Creatives: Collaborate with creative teams to ensure that ad content aligns with campaign objectives and resonates with target audiences.
-Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and generate insights for ongoing optimization.
-Adherence to Compliance: Ensure all advertisements comply with legal regulations, industry standards, and brand guidelines.
-Reporting: Produce regular reports that provide insights into campaign performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in media planning and buying, advertising, or a related field.
Proven track record of successful media planning and buying.
