About the Role
Foundry512 is growing and we’re looking for a versatile, brand-driven Freelance Art Director to join our award-winning team. This role is ideal for a seasoned creative who thrives in fast-paced agency environments and brings bold ideas to life across digital, print, video, and experiential channels.

As an Art Director at Foundry512, you’ll collaborate closely with our Creative Director, Copywriters, Digital Strategists, Producers, and Project Managers to shape visually impactful campaigns that move the needle. From concept through execution, you’ll be hands-on-developing creative assets, directing production, and bringing brands to life with clarity, purpose, and originality.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal teams and clients from early concept through execution, ensuring creative excellence at every stage.
Lead art direction for campaign deliverables including mood boards, brand decks, social media content, broadcast, and web.
Participate in creative briefs, strategy discussions, client presentations, and pitches.
Ensure all work meets brand standards, speaks to the right audience, and serves campaign objectives.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in art direction, preferably within a creative or advertising agency environment.
Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling abilities, able to communicate visually and emotionally to niche and targeted audiences.
Portfolio showcasing multi-platform campaign work, including brand identity, print, web, video, and social media.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.); Figma or Sketch a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Comfortable collaborating remotely and/or in person with cross-functional teams.
